Photo editing happens on your device
The free maker reads your selected photo into browser memory. Photo files, captions and exported videos are not sent to our server by this editor. They are not saved as projects. Closing or refreshing the page clears the editing session; files you download remain on your device.
Page visits and site preferences
On the production site, we load Pageview from app.pageview.app to measure visits for rumpelmeme.com. That service receives browser requests and associated request data. We do not send your photo, caption or exported video to the analytics service. The site can store language and appearance preferences in browser storage or cookies. Hosting providers may also keep ordinary request logs.
Accounts and other services
An account and payment are not required to use the free maker. Links to music, film catalogs or social services lead to third-party sites with their own data practices. This notice describes the current first version and should be revisited when account-based storage or other services are introduced.
